Called to lodge a complaint about my building manager cutting my roof open and leaving it open and continuing to ignore the leak. They gave me the number of a health inspector" through Alberta Public Health and I ended up on a very uncomfortable phone call with my building manager who was very rude about me having the wrong number."

The lady on the phone was attentive and could understand the situation I was going through. However, there is not much could be done through the phone and they are trying to work out through each cases under the rules/law of landlord and tenancy act (idk)? They are trying to understand the situation from both sides and not be biased towards the individual that is talking to them on the phone. Nothing was solved at the end because I would have to go to the court if I want someone to further investigate my case. But she gave me few ideas and suggestions and I was open to them.

Zero protection and respect for renters unless you have money for a lawsuit.If you have 100 complaints about a company LOOK INTO IT. Don't wait until the tenant suffers mental and physical exhaustion

Everytime I call they have different stories same as my moms told me who’s a landlord & I always get the most rude workers ever ! So appalled by the disrespect in these workers voices & the lack of compassion for the people that are getting stiffed !!
